How does a firm get onto a list?

Every list starts from Google Maps searches for the trade in that city. Firms with their own website, an open Google listing and a building or renovation category go into the pool, and up to 10 make each list. Lists are rebuilt from fresh searches, so a firm that is not on a list today can appear after a rebuild.

How do I correct my firm's details?

Send the correction through the form with a link to the page it appears on. Phone numbers, websites, ratings and categories come from your Google Business Profile, so correcting them there also carries through at the next rebuild.

Can my firm be taken off the site?

Yes. Send a removal request through the form with the firm's name and website, and the listing comes off every page it appears on and stays off.
